GroundHog Forage Radish
Description
GroundHog produces more root mass than oil seed radish, allowing it to capture 150 to 200 lbs of nitrogen per acre and other nutrients that would leach out of the soil. GroundHog winter kills leaving nutients in near the surface and holes in the ground that improve water infilatration and soil aeration. Can be grazed if seeded in combination with Pasja Forage Turnip and FrostMaster Peas.
Seeding Rate
Seed in the late summer at rate of 8 lbs/acre, at 1/4 inch depth.

Tap Master does and excellent job of capturing nutrients and recycling them. Expect Tap Master to completely winter kill and leave little or no residue.
Seeding Rate
Seed at 8-10 lbs./acre alone or at 5 lbs./acre in combination with winter peas.

Dixie Crimson Clover
Description
Dixie Crimson clover is a winter annual and summer legume that will survive over winter when planted as a fall cover crop. Seeding Rate
Seed at 10-12 lbs/acre or 5 lbs per acre in cover crop mixture.

Viper Balansa Clover
Description
Viper balansa clover is an early maturing, high-yielding annual legume able to tolerate a wide range of soils. It produces significant amounts of nitrogen, ideal for cover crops and animal feed. Viper may be cut for stored forage or grazed. It is highly digestible, and adapted to rotational grazing. Viper can also take close grazing, even when young. Abundant flowers attract pollinators while hard seed production provides natural reseeding. Early trial results indicate Viper also has moderately good winter hardiness.
Seeding Rate
Seed at a rate of 5-8 lbs. per acre.
